Description
The push button igniter and standing pilot make this blue flame heater one of the most convenient heaters today. It is a vent free gas heater with 6000 BTUs and it installs on any wall. A floor stand is also available for more of a freestanding installation. The blue flame will warm the air, causing it to rise and create a natural circulation. Since it is a vent free system, it will operate with 99.9% efficiency and will continue to heat even without power. The HBW06M is a manual control unit and it includes an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) that will shut off the heater before the oxygen drops to an unsafe level.
Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required. Models using Propane Gas must be operated with a 100 lb or larger tank and an external regulator with an output of 11 - 14" WC must be used. Repairs must be done by a qualified service contractor. Use only in compliance with local codes.
The 6,000 BTU blue flame vent free heater is now offered in a white finish with an optional floor stand and optional blower. This item is Liquid Propane with manual control. It is also available in Natural Gas (HBW06MN).
